Using Memorix

You need an account to use Memorix, and you must be 16 or over. Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

Your content stays yours

The notes, links, files and decks you create remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: storing your content, showing it back to you, emailing it to you when you ask, and passing what you paste into an AI tool to a model provider so it can generate a response. We do not use your content to train models and we do not publish it.

What you may not do

• Upload material you do not have the right to upload.
• Use Memorix to store or distribute unlawful content.
• Attempt to break, overload or circumvent the service — including working around plan limits or accessing another user's data.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement.

AI output

The AI tools generate text from what you give them, and they can be wrong. Summaries may miss things, and generated answers can be confidently incorrect. Check anything you intend to rely on against your source material. Memorix does not guarantee the accuracy of AI output and it is not academic, legal, medical or financial advice.

Plans and payment

The Free plan is available at no cost. Paid tiers exist in the product but are not currently being charged for; if that changes, we will set out prices, billing cycles and refund terms here and give notice before charging anyone.

Availability

Memorix is offered as-is, without an uptime guarantee. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will try to give reasonable notice.

Ending your account

You can stop using Memorix at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Memorix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost study time, missed exams or lost data. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in the app rather than applied silently, and continuing to use Memorix after they take effect means you accept them.
